Satisfy your morning craving on the way to work or play with a free McDonald’s Southern Style Chicken Biscuit in honor of the breakfast delicacy invented right here in Atlanta and launching nationwide. This is a brief detour in midtown you'll want to take!

The first-ever McDonald’s Chicken Biscuit Celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 14 at 1404 Spring Street at 18th Street in Midtown Atlanta - parking lot of The Center for Puppetry Arts – during the prime commute hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Rain or shine, chicken biscuit favorites are on the menu!

Southern natives who already know the appeal of the McDonald's chicken biscuit are encouraged to bring coworkers, fellow carpoolers, neighbors, families and friends who are new to Atlanta to try this classic Southern fare. Attendees can enjoy chicken biscuits - served straight-up or with some savory spreads - while chasing down the treats with a toast of Sweet Tea in several themed pavilions. The celebration will take place on a 50 X 50 foot checkered tablecloth big enough to be seen from the sky.

Rock 100.5 FM will be on hand playing favorite tunes and choosing the ultimate chicken biscuit fans from the crowd to compete in a number of quirky “chicken-inspired” competitions. More than a dozen winners during the duration of the morning celebration will receive a year supply of McDonald’s Southern Style Chicken Biscuits and Sandwiches. These giveaways will take place every 15 minutes throughout the three-hour event.
