Wembley Stadium was in for a treat on Saturday night (July 6) when The Who debuted their new song “Hero Ground Zero” and brought out Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder.
The band’s performance at Wembley Stadium in London was their first since Live Aid in 1985.
Back to the important part of this story: Eddie. Vedder. The rock legend performed “The Punk and The Godfather” from The Who’s sixth studio album, Quadrophenia, with frontman Roger Daltrey. When Daltrey brought out Vedder, he told the crowd, “He’s going to share this song with me because he knows where it came from.”
