Before Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Metallica will be ready to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” on Wednesday, June 5. To show respect to the Toronto Raptors, Canadian country artist Tenille Arts will be singing “O Canada” following the legendary rockstars. The Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors are both tied 1-1 in this seven game series.

This Friday before Game 4, Ne-Yo will sing the US National Anthem and the group Walk Off The Earth will be performing the Canadian National Anthem.

Performing America’s favorite song is nothing new to the iconic group Metallica. Band members Hetfield and Hammett put their own spin on The Star-Spangled Banner prior to a Giants vs. Yankees game at San Francisco’s Oracle Park. They also performed the national anthem during Game 5 back in 2015.
