Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ First Career Collection Out Today

Tom Petty first album compiling his hits throughout his career was released today by Geffen Records/Ume.

The Best of Everything includes songs from Petty’s solo career as well as his songs with The Heartbreakers. Sacks and Co. said the album is what Petty believed were his strongest hits which includes four decades worth of material.

According to Sacks and Co., The album is not in chronological order. Instead, it is sequenced as a “hard-hitting playlist giving the entire catalog equal prominence.”
