Ozzy Osbourne has expressed a desire for Black Sabbath to reunite for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, birthplace of the band. Sabbath wrapped up their farewell tour back in February of 2017, ending a monstrous 49-year career. Ozzy, who has no plans to retire anytime soon, said ” My career will end when a pine lid is being nailed to my box.” He’s always said he sees his career not as a job, but something for which he still has a burning passion. As he approaches 70, he joked about having to join a band fitting to his age and said, “I guess I’ll have to join the Rolling Stones.” Ozzy is currently on the “No More Tours 2 ” farewell trek, but will continue to gigs and make new music.
